Well, I have been busting my balls for the Knitting Olympics, and I have doubts that this sweater will be done by next Sunday. This is as far as I'd gotten as of this morning, which is after a week that included a blizzard and a snow day! (All two feet of snow we got in New York is already gone, by the way!) It's about 12 inches long right now, but ohmygod there have to be sleeves too? Seriously, hva var jeg tenking? Also, I'm pretty sure I don't have as many stitches as I'm supposed to, but there are too many to count, so I haven't checked again. Toooo laaazy. Eh, what's the worst that could happen? I think it's going to be really awesome though, if I ever finish. And when I do, I'll have a nice cold glass of akvavit in celebration.

your stuff is so amazing, every time i come across it i have to go "golly"! that girl sure can knit. and your kitty looks just like mine. i am adding you to my friends list so i can stay abreast of your comings and goings. it's nice to know that there are other brooklyn designers lurking on livejournal. you're in that kensington-ish area, i take it from the picture? are there any apartments there, because i have to move! :(February 24 2006, 21:25:54 UTC 6 years ago
Re: carryboo!
Hello fellow Broolyner. Wow, our cats look like cattwins! I live out near the Brooklyn Chinatown, it's a further out than Kensington, actually I often feel that it's further out than everything. It's definately like living in a different city than what everyone thinks is New York or Brooklyn, so that part's nice. But it takes forever to get anywhere, especially if the train goes local. I've got my eyes out for mellifcouture, but if I hear about anything i'll let you know. Moving sucks!
